Birds can crash airplanes. The “Animal and Bird Risk” unit patrols the airport in order to track animal locations, to make sure they do not risk the aviation.
In the past, they’ve used paper in the field and then a computer in the office… It required double-work and caused inaccurate reporting.
They now use a tablet to simply and quickly report and track animal activity in the field in real-time and on the spot.
